Exploring Advancements in Agricultural Cultivation: Goku Fertilizer Research Institute

On March 6, 2024, Châu Đức District, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Province, organized a field trip to Đồng Nai and Lâm Đồng provinces. With the desire to engage with and learn from new models and best practices in organic agriculture, this journey promised to bring valuable knowledge and fresh motivation to those working in the organic farming sector in Châu Đức District.

The delegation included representatives from the Office of the People’s Council and the District People’s Committee, the Department of Economy and Infrastructure, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the District Farmers’ Association, the Plant Protection and Cultivation Station, the District Agricultural Extension Station; representatives from communal and town-level People’s Committees; Directors of the Châu Đức Cocoa Cooperative, the Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Agricultural Service Trading Cooperative, Binon Cocoa Joint Stock Company, and more.

One of the most notable highlights of the trip was the visit to the OMIX organic microbial fertilizer production plant, where the delegation had the opportunity to witness the fertilizer manufacturing process firsthand. This was not only an exciting experience but also a chance to explore the advancements in organic agriculture.

The tour began with an introduction to the production process of organic microbial fertilizer, from the selection of raw materials to the composting, fermentation, and final packaging stages. The delegation was introduced to advanced composting and fermentation technology from Japan, applied at the factory, and its practical implementations in organic farming. The lessons and experiences gained from this visit will play a crucial role in applying sustainable agricultural practices and enhancing the quality of local agricultural products.

The visit to the OMIX organic microbial fertilizer factory demonstrated that collaboration between producers and farmers is key to elevating organic agriculture to new heights. This was not only an informative trip but also a significant step forward in overcoming the challenges of local agriculture.
